All horses timed worked on the plough, and Foxton trials were scheduled for later in the day.
Sweet Ada had co-trainer Hazel Fannin aboard over a solid 1000m in 1.5.7, with the final 800m taking 50.9, the last 600 in 36.5.
The five-year-old mare is in great form this preparation and a maiden win is on the cards at Hawera on Sunday.
Pinkerton lost no kudos with his 1000m in 1.6.9, finishing with 800m in 51.1, the last 600 in 36 seconds even. He ran fifth of five at Otaki last start, but the ground that day was very testing.
His stablemate John Doe, who has not raced since mid-May, left 1000m behind in 1.10.7, coming the final 800m in 53.3, the last 600 in 37.2. Crouch and Sevenayes went 800m together in 52.1, the last 600 in 37.6.
Former South Island galloper Haggle (by Ghibellines), not seen since April, was timed a smart 1000m in 1.4.1, with the final 800m taking 51.1, the last 600 in 38 seconds even.
The six-year-old previously won four races for Mosgiel trainers Brian and Shane Anderton, but is now with Mark Oulaghan at Awapuni.
Unraced four-year-old Al Passo (by Alamosa) and a Supido gelding, both trained by Mike Breslin, ran 800m in 53.5, the last 600 in 38.7, while their stablemates Rushin Home and unraced filly Amiria (by Per Incanto) took 39 seconds even.
Jack Morrison was at a good clip early over 1000m in 1.5.8, but eased to complete the final 800m in 53.1, the last 600 in 39.3. He is entered for the $100,000 Polytrack Championship (2000m) at Cambridge on Friday, with Amber Riddell (a2) riding him again.
Kereti, third and fourth from his two races in a new campaign, gathered speed from the 1000m (1.15.9) to finish with 600 in 40.8. Casta Shadow went 800m in 58.2 and 41.4.
