RACE Member Reciprocal Rights and Privileges
Applicable to members of the following thoroughbred racing clubs:-
- Wellington Racing Club
- Manawatu Racing Club
- Marton Jockey Club
- Feilding Jockey Club
- Rangitikei Racing Club
- Ashhurst-Pohangina Racing Club
As a Member of one the RACE clubs listed above you are entitled to Reciprocal Rights with a large number of major racing clubs in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
It is important when visiting a reciprocal Club that you have your Membership Cards or a Letter of Introduction from RACE. A letter can be produced by contacting racing@jointheaction.co.nz or call on 04 528 9611.
Unless stated the gate charge at all meetings must be paid where applicable. Members without season guest privileges at Trentham or Awapuni may be restricted to one Members’ ticket at other Clubs.
While every effort is made to ensure these Reciprocal Rights are correct, individual Clubs may vary benefits provided from time to time. We would appreciate any feedback as to your experience at other clubs.
Note that these reciprocal rights are available to RACE Premier, Full and Young level memberships.
Reciprocal Clubs and your Benefits as a Member of one of the six RACE thoroughbred racing clubs
Auckland Thoroughbred Racing Inc. are pleased to offer reciprocal rights to Wellington Racing Club for both venues - Ellerslie and Pukekohe Park, throughout the 2024/25 season. This does exclude the six premier days.
A RACE Member will be provided complimentary tickets to the Kentucky (Members) Lounge on presentation of their current membership. Gate admission charges (if any) must be paid.
A RACE Member is entitled up to two Members’ tickets for any HBRI meeting by presenting their Membership Cards.
A RACE Member is entitled up to two Members’ tickets for any CJC meeting by presenting their Membership Cards, or a RACE letter, at the Raceday Office.

On all days apart from Melbourne Cup Carnival, A RACE Member is entitled to two discounted members enclosure tickets and two full priced members enclosure guest tickets. This can be purchased online via Ticketmaster after providing the VRC Membership team with a letter of introduction or you can purchase the tickets at the gate on race day. For the Melbourne Cup Carnival, the Victoria Racing Club extend an invitation to RACE Members to purchase Members’ Enclosure Ticketing for the Carnival.
For the 2024 Melbourne Cup Carnival, please submit a letter of introduction to the VRC Membership department to obtain access to purchase guest ticketing.

A RACE Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket on all days at Caulfield & Sandown (including Caulfield Cup Day). Members’ also have the opportunity to purchase one guest pass as well.
Moonee Valley Racing Club (Melbourne)
A RACE Member has the opportunity to purchase two Members’ tickets for all days at Moonee Valley (including Cox Plate Day). On non-major days some complimentary tickets will be available. On all days the gate charge must be paid where applicable. Should you wish to know rights in advance, please contact RACE prior to travel.
A RACE Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ tickets on all race days at Eagle Farm and Doomben. RACE Members must show ID and their RACE Members Card or Letter of Introduction from RACE. On all days the gate charge must be paid where applicable.
For the Brisbane Racing Carnival (May and June), the Brisbane Racing Club extends an invitation for RACE Members to purchase Reciprocal Members Reserve tickets and one additional guest ticket. RACE Members must return the Reciprocal Member Application Form for the Carnival at least 1 week prior to the day they wish to attend.
RACE Members are entitled to receive members privileges at CJC following paying gate entry except on the following Carnivals due to capacity restraints.

A RACE Member is entitled to two complimentary Members’ tickets for non feature and semi-feature days. On major racedays the badge holder may purchase up to two tickets.
The Werribee Racing Club offer RACE Members Reciprocal Rights to all of their race meetings including Werribee Cup Day in November. These rights allow RACE Members free entry into the racecourse on all days including access to the Member’s Dining Room (excluding Cup Day & Christmas Day).
A RACE Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket and the opportunity to purchase one additional guest ticket for all days at Ascot & Belmont Park.
Other International Racing Clubs
A RACE Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket and the opportunity to purchase an additional guest pass for all race meetings at Happy Valley & Sha Tin (including the HKJC International Race Meeting).
