Omega Boy and Felucca stole the show with a fine gallop at Awapuni this morning.
All work timed was on the plough, where Omega Boy and Felucca were paired over 1000m in 1.2.1, with the final 800m taking 48.7, the last 600 in 36.1.
Omega Boy will race at Trentham on Saturday week, while Felucca is in the cup feature at the Castlepoint beach races this Saturday.
Their stablemates War Princess, who won on debut last month, and Niemi went together over 1000m in 1.6.2, coming the final 800m in 51.8, the last 600 in 37.8. War Princess was nominated for Wanganui this Saturday.
Niemi is an unraced two-year-old filly (by Microphone), who won a trial at Waipukurau two weeks ago. She is likely to debut at Tauherenikau on Sunday week.
Wanganui entrant Gum Basher and Victortheinflictor, two more from the stable of Peter Didham, covered 1000m in 1.7.6, the last 600 in 38.2.
Redana, another probable runner at Wanganui, went alone over 1000m in 1.8.1, the last 600 in 38 seconds even. She cleared maidens two starts ago at the same venue.
Kosta, whose two fourths from as many starts so far hold plenty of merit, was timed 1000m in 1.12.1, the last 600m in 38.9.
Main Street was another to work alone and ran 1000m in 1.8.8, the last 600 in 39.6, while Our Sniper, in at Wanganui, and a Proisir filly clocked 1.9.9 and 39.7.
Kalinya, who worked well last Thursday, recorded 1.10.1 for 1000m, the last 600 in 39.3, while Casta Shadow and unraced Shocking mare Basslock went 800m in 53.6 and 39.8.
Lazy, in at Wanganui, was timed 1000m in 1.7.7, the last 600 in 40.1, while Crouch and Pepeha went together in 1.11.3 and 40.2.
Unraced four-year-old mare Afternoon Siesta (by Shamus Award) and unraced three-year-old filly Viva Las Vegas (by Tarzino) ended with 600m in 44.4. They are in the Fannin barn.
