French Doll, Call A Friend and Belardo Boy were in fine form at Awapuni on Tuesday morning.

The majority of fast work was held on the course proper, where French Doll and Call A Friend were one of the top gallops.

They were timed 1000m in 1.3.4, the last 600 in 34.9, enhancing their prospects for Otaki on Sunday.

Belardo Boy worked alone over the same distance and covered 1000m in exactly the same time, 1.3.4 and 34.9.

Can Do, from the Didham barn, and Zackery (Matthew Eales) were paired over 1000m in 1.5.7, the last 600 in 34.8, and Bold Belle went on her own in 1.6.7, and 34.8 as well.

Semper Magico, who belies his 10 years, sped over 1000m in 1.2.1, the last 600 in 35.2, and he worked just as boldly last week.

Omega Boy and Poppy's Girl went 1000m in 1.2.3, the last 600 in 35.7, while Golden Lining and Platinum Goddess recorded 1.4.2 and 35.3.

Too Sweet, Wingman and Vee Vee all went together over 1000m in 1.5.5, the last 600 in 35.4, followed straight after by Belzoni and Coulthard in 1.6.2 and 35.7. Platinum Attack ended with 35.6.

Rev It Up Rusty had Qacentina for a partner over 800m in 48.7, the last 600 in 35.4, and their stablemates Hoorah Henry and a Time Test maiden took 48.7 and 35.9.

Uncle Arch and unraced three-year-old filly Belle Coeur (by Vadamos) left 800m behind in 49.6, the last 600 in 35.1, while Furiosa and My Alibi clocked 50.2 and 35.9.

Last-start winner Platinum Tyche and Chelsea Rose matched strides over 1000m in 1.3.9, the last 600 in 36.4, and their stablemate Lantern Way went alone in 1.4.1 even and 36.7.

He's A Doozy and Love Janie, two more from the Latta barn, were locked together over 1000m in 1.5.1, the last 600 in 36.8.

Ribella Rose and Under Orders did good, even work over 1000m in 1.6.4, the last 600 in 36.2, while Turn It Up, Our Giulia and Nadheema all went together in 1.7.1 and 36.1.

Wanganui Cup acceptor Benefactor and Sacred Pearl gathered speed from the 1000m to finish with 800m in 50.4, the last 600 in 36.6, and Ima Brazen One went alone in 50.6 and 36.1.

Only The Lonely and Casino covered 800m in 50.8, the last 600 in 36.1, and their stablemate Lets All Boogie came up with 50.9 and 36.5.

Last-start winners Kawakawa and Jungle Jane, both trained by the Gray partnership, ran 800m in 50.9, the last 600 in 36.6. They both won on the first weekend of the month.

Tifosi, third on debut, had stablemate Street Appeal alongside over 800m in 51.1, the last 600 in 36.5.

Kodiac Bear, second equal on debut, and Sethsational, ran 800m in 52.1, the last 600 in 36.4, while their stablemates Tears Of Victory and Tivaci's Affair clocked 53.5 and 36.4.

All four are trained by the Grays, as is Idyllic who was kept to 800m in 54.1, the last 600 in 37.6. The Scunner ended with 37.8.

Freedom Fighter was timed 1000m in 1.8.2, the last 600 in 37.5, and Wanganui Cup acceptor Sailor Jack posted 1.10.1 and 37.1. Our Akashinga and Exaggeration went an easy 800m in 56.3, the last 600 in 39.1

On the plough, Emoji and Gale Force, both trained by Lydia Pickford, did good work over 800m in 51.5, the last 600 in 36.5.

Felucca suggested a form reversal is on the cards after her 1000m in 1.6.5, the last 600 in 38.2. The Liquidator, in his first gallop back in a new campaign, sprinted 600m in 39 seconds.

Rogue Romance did a quiet round and a half before galloping an easy 1000m in 1.11.3, the last 600 in 41.6, and Ardee Boy did 600m in 42.9.

On the synthetic track, unraced three-year-olds May Wirth (by Circus Maximus) and City Gold Dragon (by Tivaci) ran 600m in 39.2. They are trained by the Didham partnership.
