French Doll and stablemate Ima Brazen One stole the show with a first-class gallop at Awapuni on Tuesday morning.

The majority of fast work was held off the rail on the course proper in perfect conditions, and, accordingly, smart times were recorded again.

French Doll and Ima Brazen One were at a solid clip from the 1000m to clock 1.3.9 for the full distance, with the final 800m taking 48.3, the last 600 in 34.5.

They were the only gallop to go under 35 seconds for the last 600, and both horses head to Trentham on Sunday.

Last-start winner Lucullan, nominated for Te Rapa on Saturday, and stablemate War Princess were paired over 1000m in 1.4.9, the last 600 in 35.3, while Zackery and unraced three-year-old filly Sapphire (by Sweynesse) posted 1.4.6 and 35.4.

Darci Dior and Oklahoma, both unplaced on debut, caught the eye with their 1000m in 1.6.7, the last 600 in 35.7. They are with Lisa Latta, and could debut on Sunday

Cosentino skipped over 800m in 49.6, the last 600 in 35.7, and stablemate Silent Is Gold recorded 50.3 and 35.9. Jungle Jane required 50.2 and 36.7. All three are trained by the Gray partnership.

Unraced three-year-old All In Navy (by U S Navy Flag), another who could debut on Sunday, had Donnybrook for a partner over 1000m, finishing with 800m in 50.4, the last 600 in 36.4. All In Navy won a Levin jump-out last month.

Identikit and Rev It Up Rusty went together over 1000m in 1.5.3, the last 600 in 36.5, while Jazlene and Street Appeal from the Newman stable, clocked 1.6.1 and 36.2. Port Chalmer and Brian were almost identical with 1.6.1 and 36.4.

Vahvay and unraced three-year-old filly Sundown Sav (by Savabeel) covered 1000m in 1.7.2, the last 600 in 36 seconds even, while Wingman, Vee Vee and Reservoir all went together in 1.7.7 and 36.7.

Impressive last-start winner Cooper gathered speed from the 1000m (1.11) to finish with 800m in 52 seconds even, the last 600 in 36.9. He was nominated for Waikato on Saturday.

Lets All Boogie and Altezza were locked together over 1000m in 1.4.9, the last 600 in 37.2, and Only The Lonely took 1.7.1 and 37.9. Velton posted 1.8.1 and 37.1. All four are in the Newman stable.

Alcaraz, just beaten when resuming, and Belle's Echo were paired over 1000m in 1.9.1, the last 600 in 37.7, while Ardee Boy and Niemi took 1.11.1 and 37.6.

Lantern Way worked alone over 800m in 53.7, the last 600 in 37.4, and was followed soon after by Bergerson-trained unraced pair Sweetest Thing (by Hello Youmzain) and Epitome (by Darci Brahma), who ended with 37.9.

Casta Shadow, who is working solidly, ran 1000m in 1.8.9, the last 600 in 38.4, while Victortheinflictor and stablemate City Gold Dragon clocked 1.9.1 and 38.9.

Hello My Dear and Taupo Dancer went 800m in 52 seconds even, the last 600 in 38 even, and Kawakawa from the same stable took 54.5 and 38.3. Platinum Goddess and Starpello posted 55.6 and 38.6.

Jack Morrison worked over 1200m, being timed from the 1000m in 1.12.1, the last 600 in 39.9, and Uncle Arch was kept to 800m in 53.6 and 39.9.

On the plough, unraced four-year-old Louis Swey (by Sweynesse) did well to run 1000m in 1.6.5, the last 600 in 36.1.

Gale Force and Emoji, both trained by Lydia Pickford, covered 800m in 50.9, the last 600 in 36.9.

Final Chapter and Love Janie ran 800m in 53.7 and 37.7. Litigator did a quiet round and half before sprinting home 600m in 39.6, while Crouch and Call A Friend ended with 600m in 40.5.
