Whatsinyourwallet showed he has trained on the right way after a last-start maiden success when he galloped boldly at Awapuni on Thursday morning.

The majority of fast work was on the plough (good), with just three gallops timed on the synthetic track.

Whatsinyourwallet used the plough and reeled off a very smart 1000m in

1.2 even, coming the final 800m in 48.5, the last 600 in 35.8.

The El Roca gelding was pretty assertive in his Tauherenikau triumph two weeks ago and could race next at Trentham on Saturday week.

Lazy, who will wear vizor blinkers at Otaki on Boxing Day (r75 2100m), did solid work as well, being timed 800m in 49.4, the last 600 in 36 seconds even.

Cry Baby and Tokyodome, both trained by Deborah Parry, were paired over 1000m in 1.6.5, the last 600 in 37.3, and Saturday's Wanganui entrant Ima Brazen One (r75 1200m) took 1.7.5 and 38 seconds even.

Otaki acceptors Almalane (mdn mile) and Danjuro (r65 2300m) went together over 1000m in 1.9.1, the last 600 in 38.1, while Wanganui entrant Alcaraz (mdn 1200m) and Qacentina posted 1.9.8 and 38.7.

Wal, likely to head to the West Coast circuit in early January, ran 800m in 54.3, the last 600 in 38.2, while Kosta and Afterthought recorded 53.1 and 39.2.

McKhan did a quiet round before speeding up to run 1000m on the second circuit in 1.8.1, the last 600 in 39.2.

Ruffhouse Rosie, another heading to the West Coast, clocked 54 even for 800m, the last 600 in 39.4. She won at the Kumara meeting at the same time last year.

Top mare Manifique, beaten narrowly at Trentham last start, worked an easy 800m in 55.7, the last 600 in 40.6.

Dapper Dan, who will have the blinkers off on Boxing Day (mdn mile), had Sevenayes for a partner over 1000m in 1.16.2, the last 600 in 41.9. Sevenayes is a dual acceptor the same day.

Final Chapter was timed 1000m in 1.13.1, the last 600 in 42.7, while The Scunner, in at Otaki (r75 1400m), and Dendo took 1.15.8 and 42.6.

Wanganui runner Princess Seneca (mdn 3yo 1360m) and Gum Basher left 800m behind in 59.3, the last 600 in 42.3. Princess Seneca will have the vizor blinkers off on Sunday.

Rev It Up Rusty was kept to 1000m in 1.14.6, the last 600 in 43.7, and Love Janie went 1.15.6 and 43.5. Moon Money and Victortheinflictor worked right-handed in 1.15.8 and 43.9.

On the synthetic track, Havarti and Lucullan breezed over 800m in 48.7, the last 600 in 36 seconds even. Lucullan was beaten narrowly on debut at Tauherenikau two weeks ago.

Zackery, a good fourth at Trentham last start, covered 1000m in 1.6.9, the last 600 in 37.8. He is an acceptor at both Otaki (r65 2300m) and Wanganui (r65 2040m).

Unraced stablemates Holy Hecka (by Invader) and a Per Incanto gelding, both trained by Peter Didham, sprinted 600m in 43.2, and Kawatiri ended 800m with 600 in 45.2.
